Dandruff is a condition whereby the skin of the scalp generates flaky or dusty particles.

Causes of dandruff

Although, it  is really not clear what causes  dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis, but it is commonly caused by an outgrowth of  malassezia yeast.

The treatment of dandruffs can be divided into short and long term 

For the long term, it is available to avoid hair oil while for the short term it is advisable to use shampoo with the following ingredients.

• Zinc pyrithione
• Salicylic acid
• Sulfur
• Selenium sulfide.
